Colour:
Deep red with hints of purple lingering around the meniscus.
Nose:
Bright raspberry soaring over Satsuma plum. Chocolate and camphor wood box rounded out by rich smoky yeast complexity.
Palate:
An explosion of ripe raspberry and strawberries initially hits the tip of the palate ably supported by rich deep Satsuma plum brooding below. The middle palate starts with Chocolate over cigar box that volatizes cleanly to reveal deep yeasty black tea and shitake mushrooms that lingers on and on over the soft tannin structure.
